Our Story
It started with a leaky fountain pen and a very long search. A long-term fan of stationery, and of all kinds of things pretty and aesthetically pleasing, I hunted for years for fountain pen-themed stickers I'd actually want to stick in my own journal. Everything I found was either too serious, or felt like it was stuck in 2005.
So I started drawing my own — a little cute, a little wry, just aesthetically pleasing enough. Somewhere in the sketchbook pages, an otter turned up with ink on her paws and entirely too much enthusiasm for a good pen. She needed a foil, so a very serious, very particular bear followed not long after. And that's how myosotis — and Estie and Chestnut's little inkwell of a world — came to be.
Meet the Characters
The stationery adventures that Estie, Chestnut and their supporting cast find themselves in mirror the situations I get myself into on a daily basis. I hope their stories on these sticker sheets bring joy to your life, and to your journals and letters too.
Estie
A fountain pen-loving, endlessly cheerful otter. Never without ink-stained paws and a fresh page to fill.
Chestnut
A serious, particular stationery bear. Takes nib sizes, paper weight, and correct pen storage very seriously.
Meet the Artist
Estie, Chestnut and their world are designed, drawn, printed and cut by hand, one sticker sheet at a time, in digital watercolour. Everything in the shop is made direct from the hands of a stationery lover to another's — right here in North East London, with love.
